Down Payment Assistance and Loan Grant Programs

Effective July 1, 2007, the IRS has revoked the non-charitable status of many non-government grant programs.  As a result, the programs such as Nehemiah or Ameridream for example, no longer provide down payment assistance grants to first time home buyers.
